Back in high school French class, there was a little story about the girl who was a "chercheur d'or" (gold digger) in one of our books. I don't recall whether it was the story or just the name "chercheur d'or" that made my girlfriends and I giggle to no end. All I know, was that we began to call each other "chercheur d'or" for days, months, and even years. Yes, even til this day, we still occasionally greet each other with those infamous words. What can I say, it was an all-girl school and with no boys around, we had to amuse ourselves some way;) This necklace is comprised of 18kt vermeil (gold over sterling silver 925), gold filled chain, and freshwater pearls. Total length is 16 inches. The focal drop is approximately 3 inches. The toggle clasp is centered in the front for an easy opening and closure. Please view the matching earrings listed below.
